Government Affairs Mission Statement
The mission of the Caucus Government affairs Committee is to intelligently evaluate rallying issues at the regulatory and/or legislative levels of city, county state,
national and international government that may impact the Entertainment Industry, most especially in the area of television and new media, and to activate Caucus
involvement in those issues deemed relevant and approved by the Caucus Steering committee.
Areas of interest to The Caucus include:
• Comcast/NBC-Uni Merger
• Piracy
• Net Neutrality
• Legislation on loud commercials
• Federal Tax Bill Extension for Runaway Production
• Retransmission Consent
• Charter for the coalition STEM
• FCC Broadband Plan
